This is the most common cause of all heel pain. The plantar fascia is a band of fibrous connective tissue that runs along the sole from the heel to the ball of the foot. We can experience heel pain when it gets inflamed.

ARCHILLES TENDONITIS

Pain in the Achilles tendon is often an overuse injury of the band of tissue that connects the calf muscles at the back of the lower leg to your heel bone. Although it is commonly seen in athletes, it can affect people of all ages.

TENDONITIS

Tendinitis can occur in any tendon and cause pain in various areas of the lower leg, ankle and foot. Tendons are thick cords that attach muscle to bone.
