ANKLE PAIN

Your ankle joints allow for the up-and-down, and side-to-side movement of your foot. Numerous ligaments surround the bones in these joints, stabilising them and connecting the bones in your leg to the bones in your feet. Every time you walk, your feet and ankles are taking on the weight of your entire body. Everyone from young children, athletes and older people can suffer ankle pain. Now imagine how much extra pressure your feet and ankles are under when you continually walk, run or jump!

At Right Path Podiatry we assess your ankle and diagnose it. We then focus on the best prevention and treatment plan which can include a rehabilitation program, changes in lifestyle, change of footwear and possibly orthotics if there is an underlying biomechanical cause.

“Jason is always so professional.
